Key Responsibilities & Role Dynamics
The DHA Pharmacist role at GMG is multifaceted, blending clinical pharmaceutical practice with operational efficiency and retail sales acumen. - Pharmaceutical Consultation: Reviewing customer prescriptions meticulously to ensure accuracy, verify the necessary drugs, and evaluate their suitability for the patient’s profile. - Medication Dispensing: Compounding and dispensing medications accurately as prescribed by licensed physicians and other health practitioners, adhering to all professional standards.

Maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring proper storage and handling of all items, and taking ownership of daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry monitoring, and professional merchandising.
- Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Maintaining absolute compliance with all local rules and regulations governing pharmacy activities, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication, as mandated by external authorities such as the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH). Liaising effectively with insurance companies to process insurance claims promptly and resolve any complex billing issues.
