The Post: Pharmacy Manager

The Pharmacy Manager is the ultimate leader and clinical authority for the pharmacy team. Your responsibilities will extend beyond dispensing to encompass strategic leadership and operational excellence, including:

  1. Clinical & Professional Leadership: Ensure the highest standard of patient care, adherence to the OCP standards of practice, and leveraging the full scope of pharmacy services available in Ontario.
  2. Team Management: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants, and Technicians. Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
  3. Operational Excellence: Oversee inventory management, financial performance, workflow optimization, and regulatory compliance (including narcotics control and patient record integrity).
  4. Community Engagement: Act as the primary face of the pharmacy, building strong relationships with patients, local healthcare providers, and the community to enhance patient retention and growth.
  5. Business Strategy: Drive the pharmacy’s financial success by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), controlling costs, and implementing strategies to grow clinical service revenue and prescription volume.

Eligibility and Qualifications
