NEET UG 2022 Exam tomorrow, NTA issues instructions for candidates, check what is allowed, what is not

NEET UG 2022 Exam will be held tomorrow by NTA. Over 18 lakh candidates are reported to be appearing for the medical entrance exam tomorrow, July 17, 2022 in centres inside and outside India. Days before the exam, NTA issued instructions for the candidates. Read on to know what is allowed and what is not on the day of the exam.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test , NEET UG 2022 Exam is scheduled to be held tomorrow, July 17, 2022. Over 18 lakh students are estimated to appear for this entrance exam to secure a MBBS or BDS seat in the top medical institutes, colleges and universities of India. NEET 2022 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency .

NTA has issued an advisory for candidates appearing for the NEET 2022 exam. In a notice issued on the official website –, the agency has mentioned exam day guidelines for candidates to keep in mind while appearing for the NEET UG exam tomorrow. Students can read on to know what is allowed and what is not allowed on the day of the exam.

NTA has already issued the NEET UG 2022 admit cards on for candidates on July 12, 2022. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards in advance and carry a printout of it with them to their respective exam centres. NEET UG 2022 – what is allowed in centre

  1. Candidates are allowed to carry a personal water bottle, which is transparent in nature
  2. Passport size photograph or additional photograph to put on the attendance sheet
  3. 50 ml bottle of hand sanitizer
  4. NEET UG 2022 admit card along with the self-declaration and undertaking form
  5. Blue or black ballpoint pen to write the exam

NEET UG 2022 – What is NOT allowed

  1. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth, microphones, calculators, smart watches, etc. are not allowed. 
  2. Any printed material apart form the admit card is not allowed in the exam hall
  3. Any eatables are also not allowed and prohibited by NTA in the exam hall
  4. Candidates are advised against wearing heavy ornaments, jewelry, expensive items to the exam hall on the day of NEET 2022. Candidates can read about the NEET 2022 Dress Code here. 

As per the notice issued by NTA, candidates must follow COVID-19 safety protocols such as wearing a face mask, maintaining social distancing and any other guidelines that are enforced at the respective exam centres. NEET 2022 will be held tomorrow, July 17, 2022 for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Times Now wishes all the candidates appearing for the entrance exam the very best!
