Here, I am sharing the books we referred to and the benefits you can get from particular book:
I am in class 12 in CBSE with a commerce stream. Which books should I use to study accountancy, business studies, and economics?
Accountancy – T.S.Grewal, Arihant Publications.
Economics – Sandeep Garg, S.K.Aggarwala, C.B.Sachdeva
Business Studies – NCERT, Subash Dey
You can also try EAD sample papers for all the subjects. They are really helpful.
For basic Knowledge of Economics, If you are a class 11th student, you should start studies from Indian Economy NCERT & V.k. Ohri.
For Class 12th, v.k. Ohri & arihant Publications Course book and sample paper manual are good books.
For Business studies (class 11th&12th), NCERT, poonam gandhi & Arihant Publications practice manual and course module are the best books.
How should I study Business Studies to get 90+ marks in Board Exams (CBSE)?
It’s easy. Even I have my business studies exam on the 16th. Complete your learning from both the books that is part 1 and part 2. Use NCERT only for learning.
After that one needs to do application based questions and so for that refer to Arihant Sample Papers for Business Studies. It is actually very good and has the same pattern of the paper which we give based on Case Studies. Solve that book and try to revise at least 2 times. All the best. 🙂
It affects my grade percentage too.
Scoring in Business Studies is not that hard. One can easily score 90+ with little efforts.
Don’t Cram. Understand the Topic : don’t try to cram those topics. Try to understand through deep reading.
Read and make notes : try to read full topics again and again unless you understand then makes notes out of it. First read then understand and then make notes out of your own understanding.
Revise them : revise those notes which you make again and again per few days. First few days give some time to revise then just simply read out to maintain the revision and save time at the same time.
Solve every back side questions : solve all the back sides questions given in side books as well as ncert especially the case studies. Try to solve through 2–3 books for variety of questions.
Use Sample Paper and Question Bank before exam : before few days/months of exam, try to solve and read every questions given in sample papers and previous year questions. Atleast give it a view properly. Arihant and Oswaal are some of the popular sample papers and question bank which you may use.
Side books I recommend : Business Studies by Arihant and educart books
