Hi… I scored 99 in the Business Studies in March 2017 exam. And I know where I missed that one mark which I now regret. So I think my answer will help you to some extent.

Here is how I prepared:

I was serious about the studies right from the beginning. Don’t wait for the eleventh hour. Take interest in the subject.
Learn the NCERT textbook thoroughly. It is enough because the answer keys and value points are from it. I used NCERT only.
The main problem is interpreting the question. The questions will be some one page lengthy case study and you need to understand the point correctly. Case Studies by Arya Publishing Company will help you with this. I referred the same. Practice as many questions as you can.
For case studies give a Clarification note for your answer. It will act as a justification to the examiner that why you have written that answer. For eg: In March 2017 examination there was a question which can have delegation, decentralization or staffing as the answer. I wrote delegation and gave a note regarding why delegation should be the answer. And it saved my 6 marks.
Practice previous years question papers during the revisions. It will help to boost your confidence.
Revise well. Stay positive. Pray to God. Try to give an impression in your answer sheet. Take advise from your teacher regarding the same.
Manage time.
Most importantly. Read the question well. I told Na the question will be lengthy. In some questions you may be asked to explain. There are chances that you may fail to notice that word. I committed the same mistake and it cost me one mark or a perfect hundred. So don’t do that mistake dear.
Best of luck.
